AIRPORT PROJECTS

The current major airport projects and their priority (as stated by airport customers in the October survey) are:

• 1) Automated Weather Observation System (AWOS) installation. --Scheduled for mid-2025
• 2) Replacement of the airfield lighting system. --Request for Proposals is in development. Release is expected in March 2025.
• 3) Ramp area resurfacing--Future capital project with funding--no date identified.
• 4) Taxiway resurfacing
• 5) Runway repainting/restriping--Completed in December 2024
• 6) Repair/replace access gates
• 7) Repaint peeling hangar paint--Completed in December 2024
